An insightful and engaging evening of poetry considering our place in the world, how we engage with society, and our effect on the natural world.

Three BC poets—Kate Braid (Elemental), Mercedes Eng (Prison Industrial Complex Explodes), and Cornelia Hoogland (Trailer Park Elegy)—will be hosted by Surrey Poet Laureate Renée Sarojini Saklikar.

Doors at 6:30 p.m. | Readings begin at 6:45 p.m.
